
Another positive step forward:
I just called and made an appointment with a nutrition counselor at the University of Washington Medical Center, referred by my endocrinologist. He was a bit concerned about my elevated blood sugar levels which indicate early stage diabetes. And, my wife is going with me so that our whole family can eat as instructed.

Good! (Not your prediabetes...but your appointment.) I hope you find the nutritionist helpful...I sure did when I went. Even though it was some stuff I already knew, it was so nice to be able to ask questions.
Thanks Erin. Yeah, I don't think I'll hear much new. My son was diagnosed with diabetes in 1996. But it will be good to have a plan for our family, and get everyone on the same page.
